Events are genuinely in Extraordinary Events' DNA. Founder, Nicole Santer, grew up immersed in the world of events. Her parents owned a thriving catering business, and from her earliest years she absorbed a truth that still drives the business today: the most powerful thing an event can do is make people feel something.

From family catering to founding a firm
After working in the family business and gaining experience across the events industry, Nicole founded Extraordinary Events with a clear vision to craft experiences that inspire connection, deliver genuine wow moments, and leave every attendee with something they will remember long after they leave the room.
This is what the firm calls Event Design Intelligence, the deliberate, strategic approach to designing events that don't just run well, but move people. It might be bringing world-class chefs onto the main stage in the middle of a conference. It might be a moment of unexpected theatre that transforms the energy of 1,500 people. It is always intentional, always purposeful, and always extraordinary.
The methodology that changed everything
Together, Nicole and co-founder, Neil Santer, whose background in management consulting with KPMG, Accenture and Coopers & Lybrand brought rigorous operational thinking to the business, developed a formal event management methodology. A structured, step-by-step framework ensuring nothing would ever be missed, regardless of how complex the event or how many projects were running simultaneously.
Our methodology has since evolved into 7StEMM™ — Seven Steps to Event Management Mastery, which today forms the foundation of both the firm's event delivery and its online education course, empowering event professionals worldwide with the tools to create extraordinary experiences.
